This project was born out of my theoretical writings about an essential building project that operates with an open-ended structure.

I began my writing career as a poet after giving up filmmaking and screenplays at the age of 20. After much increasingly less terrible poetry, and studying at UMKC with Clancy Martin and Hadara Bar-Nadav, and after becoming a disciple of both Nietzsche and Kierkegaard, I left academia and wrote a novel.

My work then became that of a spiritual author, having resigned my version of the poetic project, and eventually feeling the feeling of being a failed novelist: this sinking realization that I likely only had one novel in me, a slant version of my own coming of age.

My metaphysics and spiritual writings turned more and more toward the practical, until finally settling on the subject of community building projects.

Now my task is to bring community building projects into real life, and to go out and talk to people about the model.
